Is there a workaround? 2 Comment actions Permalink Craig Lowenthal October 09, 2019 11:44 Good luck! I asked that a few months ago and got two different responses from Q-See Support that never answered the question - they just provide links to already existing download pages. 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See October 09, 2019 12:08 i am sorry, but at this time we do not have any update available or a fix for Catalina. 0 Comment actions Permalink Craig Lowenthal October 09, 2019 12:19 Thanks Brendon. But the next question is, do you have a plan for one? You are still selling QC products, so why would anyone buy one if there won't be an update coming? 2 Comment actions Permalink Lawton Brown October 17, 2019 19:45 It's not really a fix though, is it. When did 64-bit processors debut? 1961. When did Mac release its first 64-bit OS? 2007. It's not like it's a secret that was just sprung on the company. This was 12 years in the making. Are there any plans to release a 64-bit version of QC View for Mac? Are you planning on eliminating the Mac player altogether then? 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See October 18, 2019 16:55 Edited UPDATE: The fix is not working. We are still looking into this.Sorry for crying wolf. 1 Comment actions Permalink Albert Cacace October 21, 2019 18:55 Brendon. Yes please push to get this working. QC View doesn't even work well on OS X Mojave. There's been no update for way too long -- and I can't access my cameras. 0 Comment actions Permalink Lawton Brown October 31, 2019 15:23 Any update? 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See October 31, 2019 15:27 no update yet. we are hoping for one in december. 2 Comment actions Permalink David October 31, 2019 20:17 Will be nice to be able to use my NVR with my Mac again. 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See October 31, 2019 20:20 no update yet. we are hoping for one in december. 0 Comment actions Permalink JH November 13, 2019 18:41 As a workaround, what's your experience with the VLC for OS X - Playback Software alternative?Does this still work? And does this just shows one camera at a time, or can we view all cameras in a grid view? 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See November 13, 2019 18:44 VLC is only used for playback of the backed up footage. not for live viewing 0 Comment actions Permalink JH November 13, 2019 18:54 There is no RTSP_via_VLC ability? 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See November 13, 2019 18:56 rtsp via vlc should work yes. but only one channel at a time. 0 Comment actions Permalink Hannibal Morales November 17, 2019 20:36 Edited My family and I own 3 Q-See systems needing QC View, we all use MacBooks Pro. We need this 64 Bit program. Thanks, HM 1 Comment actions Permalink Connor Bell-Whitburn November 23, 2019 19:07 I first started experiencing real issues with High Sierra, IE crashes and such. Real issues with Mojave as it will not open at all... Support was unhelpful as they deleted and reinstalled (which I had already done)... and I attempted to go to catalina, and have since revert back to Mojave (because my 2010 Adobe software CS5 will not work and I cannot lose all that helpfulness)Brendon, I am happy to hear december looks like a release for something new as the current was 02 08 2017!!Thank you and how do we get on an email chain to get notified about the upcoming release! Thanks, CB 0 Comment actions Permalink Tom Niehoff December 03, 2019 19:09 Patiently awaiting an update to work with Catalina over here as well. 0 Comment actions Permalink Brendon Q-See December 03, 2019 19:28 update will be released next week by end of the week. 1 Comment actions Permalink Tom Niehoff December 03, 2019 19:30 Excellent, thank you. 0 Comment actions Permalink Albert Cacace December 03, 2019 20:04 Thank you Brendon! I have been delaying Catalina until the upgrade was available. 0 Comment actions Permalink Connor Bell-Whitburn December 12, 2019 15:30 Brendon,Once I add my QC device. I try to manually login, and nothing happens.
