Good luck! I asked that a few months ago and got two different responses from Q-See Support that never answered the question - they just provide links to already existing download pages.
Thanks Brendon. But the next question is, do you have a plan for one? You are still selling QC products, so why would anyone buy one if there won't be an update coming?
It's not really a fix though, is it. When did 64-bit processors debut? 1961. When did Mac release its first 64-bit OS? 2007. It's not like it's a secret that was just sprung on the company. This was 12 years in the making.
Are there any plans to release a 64-bit version of QC View for Mac?
Are you planning on eliminating the Mac player altogether then?
Brendon. Yes please push to get this working. QC View doesn't even work well on OS X Mojave. There's been no update for way too long -- and I can't access my cameras.
As a workaround, what's your experience with the VLC for OS X - Playback Software alternative? Does this still work? And does this just shows one camera at a time, or can we view all cameras in a grid view?
I first started experiencing real issues with High Sierra, IE crashes and such. Real issues with Mojave as it will not open at all... Support was unhelpful as they deleted and reinstalled (which I had already done) ... and I attempted to go to catalina, and have since revert back to Mojave (because my 2010 Adobe software CS5 will not work and I cannot lose all that helpfulness)
Brendon, I am happy to hear december looks like a release for something new as the current was 02 08 2017!!
Thank you and how do we get on an email chain to get notified about the upcoming release!

Now that Mac OS no longer supports 32-bit applications, when will QC View for Mac be updated? Is there a workaround?

i am sorry, but at this time we do not have any update available or a fix for Catalina.

VLC is only used for playback of the backed up footage. not for live viewing
There is no RTSP_via_VLC ability?
rtsp via vlc should work yes. but only one channel at a time.
My family and I own 3 Q-See systems needing QC View, we all use MacBooks Pro. We need this 64 Bit program. Thanks, HM

Patiently awaiting an update to work with Catalina over here as well.
update will be released next week by end of the week.
Excellent, thank you.
Thank you Brendon! That will be a great Holiday present.
So glad to hear there will be an upgrade to 64 bit. I have been delaying Catalina until the upgrade was available.
